Marci Booth
Marci Booth, Southern Maine Accounting principal, offers clients what is best described as a "big-picture" approach. With her training - a degree in accounting from the University of Southern Maine, and membership in several professional associations - combined with several years at a large local firm. Marci has a well-developed sense of what an organization needs and how it can run more efficiently. She provides quarterly reviewed financial statements, analyses of account receivables and account payables and training to bookkeeping staff. She works closely with a client´s associated tax firm to provide current and concrete financial data. She can help a new firm with financing, deal with insurance policies and procedures, work out office logistics and help with office design. Marci believes each client is unique, and takes a true interest in their well-being.

A Maine native and mother of three girls, Marci also finds time to volunteer as a consultant for St. Pat´s Parish Finance Committee of Portland. She also combines her interest in fitness and outdoors activities with charity work by participating in the American Lung Association´s Trek Across Maine and the March of Dimes´ Walk America.


Catherine Moschetto
Southern Maine Accounting principal Catherine Moschetto brings multi-faceted expertise to the firm. She focuses on management consulting, particularly when it comes to helping clients with staffing - "putting the right person in the right seat." These services could include interviewing, hiring, placement, office management and training. She also helps clients with back-office issues, such as introducing them to the most efficient and cost-effective vendors to meet their needs. Additionally, Catherine can analyze and make recommendations on streamlining and improving a client´s office systems.

With education focused on business management and accounting, Catherine possesses a wide range of entrepreneurial experience. She has owned a variety of businesses, including convenience store and service station and fitness center. Catherine is a certified personal trainer and has been involved in health and fitness programs for many years, setting a positive example for her family and two children. She also supports the Trek Across Maine, March of Dimes WalkAmerica and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
